You have reached this site because you want to take part in a survey study organized by Julien Dubois, a graduate student supervised by Dr. Rufin VanRullen at the Universite Paul Sabatier in Toulouse, France. Before you proceed, pay attention to the following information about this study.

Study Information

The consumption of LSD is an activity that we do not encourage, and if you have never taken LSD, do NOT take it for the purpose of participating in this survey.
Please read the following information carefully before deciding whether to participate in this experiment.

Why are you doing this research?
We want to understand the way the human brain processes visual information. More specifically, we want to investigate how some chemicals, such as LSD, can interact with normal visual perception. Surprisingly, there has been little quantitative investigation of effects of LSD on perception. This online questionnaire is one of the avenues by which we hope to gain more knowledge.

What will I have to do?
First, we will be asking you to watch a movie. Then you will answer a few simple questions about it.

How long will this experiment take?
This experiment will take about 5-10 minutes.

Are there any risks? We are aware that the consumption of LSD is an illegal activity. We do not ask you nor store any personal identifying information. Hence, we do not expect there to be any risks. Please keep in mind that you are free to end the experiment at any time.

What do I get out of it? The final results from this experiment will be posted on this webpage once the study is completed. The survey will close when we reach a satisfactory number of participants (200-300).

Will I get paid? We do not provide compensation for participation in this experiment.

Will you share my information with other people? We do not share any information that you give us. All of your information is stored in a database. All of our databases are password-protected and secure. We do not collect any information that can identify you.

What if I change my mind and don't want to do the experiment anymore? Your participation in this study is completely voluntary, and you may exit the experiment at any point without penalty.

How do I agree to participate? By clicking the link "I agree to participate..." below, you are saying that:

I agree to take part in this research. I feel that I understand what I am getting into, and I know I am free to leave the experiment at any time.
